Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect about visitors and prospects in the United States. We currently do not offer our services to residents of the European Union/EEA.
Personal information we collect
- Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, company and role, IP address, device identifiers.
- Internet or network activity: pages viewed, referrals/UTM, timestamps, approximate location (derived from IP).
- Commercial information (B2B only): service interests, meeting bookings, contract and billing details if you become a client.
- Communications: messages you send us via forms, email or calls.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (e.g., precise geolocation, health, SSN). Please do not include such data in free-text fields.
How we collect information
- Directly from you when you fill forms, download materials, or contact us.
- Automatically via cookies or similar technologies for essential site functionality and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for aggregated usage metrics.
How we use information (business purposes)
- To operate and improve the website and our services.
- To respond to inquiries, schedule calls, and provide proposals.
- To maintain security, prevent fraud and debug issues.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Google Analytics 4
We use GA4 to understand aggregated website usage. GA4 may set cookies or read identifiers. We have disabled Google Signals and advertising features by default. You can use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" control and GPC (see below). You can also install Google's opt-out add-on for your browser if you wish.
Sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and present clear choices.
Retention
We keep contact and communications data for as long as needed to respond and for up to 24 months after our last interaction, unless a longer period is required by law or a contract. Aggregated analytics data may be retained for 14 months.
Your privacy rights (U.S. state laws, including California)
Depending on your state, you may have the right to request: (1) access, (2) correction, (3) deletion, (4) portability, and (5) to opt out of sales/sharing and targeted advertising. We do not discriminate for exercising your rights.
How to exercise rights: email privacy@theoutsources.com with "Privacy Request" and describe your request, or use our contact form. We will verify your identity using reasonable methods consistent with applicable law. You may use an authorized agent; we may require proof of agency.
Opt-out controls: visit /do-not-sell to opt out of sale/share and targeted advertising and to learn how we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC).
Appeals: if we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; we will review and respond within the timeframe required by law.
Children
Our services and website are intended for business professionals and are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process. No system is perfectly secure.
Third parties and processors
We may share information with service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g., hosting, analytics, CRM, communications). We require them to use the data only to provide services to us and to protect it appropriately.
Nevada & "Shine the Light"
We do not sell personal information as defined under Nevada law. California Civil Code §1798.83 (Shine the Light) does not apply because we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
Changes
We may update this Policy. We will post the updated version with a new "Effective date" and, if changes are material, we will provide additional notice.
